Rick Kalowski is ABC Head of Comedy, responsible for overseeing development, commissioning and production of all scripted comedy on ABC Television. An award-winning creator/writer/producer with a previous career as a lawyer, in 2013 Rick was named among The Sydney Morning Herald’s ’50 Most Influential People in Television’. His own shows, including ABC1’s popular late night political satire Wednesday Night Fever (2013) and the top rating sitcom At Home with Julia (2011), have won or been nominated for 20 major awards including the AACTA Award for Best TV Comedy Series, a Logie Award and the Rose D’Or for Best International Comedy Series.
